October 2013 – Last week, the NAHB announced the winners of the 2013 Pillars of the Industry Awards and in the category of Best Interior Merchandising at a Multifamily Community, Carlyn and Company Interiors + Design was awarded that prestigious honor.  In a crowded field of national entries their design work for First + M developed by Archstone was recognized above all others.

This architecturally stunning high-rise rental project in the emerging NoMa neighborhood boasts over 20,000 square feet of amenity areas including lounge, click cafe, demonstration kitchen, dog spa, music practice rooms and a 5,000 square foot fitness center with a live oxygen wall.  “We are extremely proud to have won this highest of awards, and appreciate the opportunity to have been a part of the team responsible for the development of one of the industry’s most talked about multifamily projects this year”, says Carlyn Guarnieri, CEO of Carlyn and Company.  This represents the 5th time that the firm has received this honor for their work in the multifamily interior merchandising field.
